Towards a Vision for a Just World is an invaluable resource for J&P groups (or interested individuals) produced by the National Justice & Peace Network (NJPN). The cost, including postage and packing, is just £4.25. The booklet contains up-to-date information on the structure of the J&P movement, details of the Pastoral Cycle method of working, the unique spirituality of J&P as well as some excellent ideas ranging from campaigning to liturgies. It is a must for all J&P groups and we can recommend it without reservation.

There is no doubt that the whole parish is a potential mission community, and justice and peace can have a key role to play in this mission. Being a parish committed to justice and peace includes everyone and while a small group may animate the parish, they are vitally integrated into the life of the parish. Being a Parish committed to justice demands considerable commitment from priest and parish and regular renewal. And there are rewards! While reaching outwards, we also reach inward - to the core of our souls. We develop a broad and deep spirituality which reaches into and enriches every corner of our lives.
The parish committed to Justice and Peace offers its people the opportunity to develop creative liturgies which resonate more with their lives and with the challenges of our world. Given a sense of themselves as part of a missionary community, parishoners can participate more fully and feel genuinely involved as they share their lived experience through the liturgy and draw greater nourishment from it.
